School Council
Welcome to Ringstead's School Council page. Our School Council is led by Mrs Sexton with a group of enthusiastic, responsible pupils chosen by their classmates to represent their views and help make the school an even better place to learn and grow. Twice a term, our School Councillors come together to share ideas, discuss important school issues and help plan events that benefit everyone. Through these meetings and activities, our School Council gives every child a voice and encourages responsibility, teamwork, and confidence across our school community.

Autumn 1 –
In Autumn 1, our School Councillors suggested we bring the Scholastic Book Fair to Ringstead to encourage and develop our already flourishing love of reading. We raised £80 for the school to spend on new books and have already organised the Book Fair to return next year.
Autumn 2 –
Autumn 2 was a busy term for our School Councillors. They introduced Anti-Bullying Week with an assembly which they planned and led by themselves. Each class then completed a PSHE lesson and activity linked with Anti-Bullying. Alongside Anti-Bullying Week they also promoted World Kindness Day and challenged their classmates and teachers to take part in daily random acts of kindness.
The School Councillors also sold items and planned a non-uniform day to support and raise money for Children in Need. In total the school raised a grand total of £204.25.
