Teach children how they should live, and they will remember it all their lives. Proverbs 22 v 6

Teacher: Miss Charlotte Turner

Teaching Assistant: Miss Julia Grunill (HLTA)

Hello and welcome back to my favourite term of the year, the Christmas term!

This term our topic is Bottoms, Burps and Bile which means that we will be looking at how the human body works and how to keep ourselves fit and healthy as well as how the different parts of the digestive system work. This is a very science heavy topic so expect to hear about lots of exciting experiments!

In R.E we are looking at the Holy Trinity and what this means to Christians and as we get a little closer to Christmas we will be exploring the finer details of the story of the birth of Jesus.

P.E is to remain on Tuesday and Thursday and, weather permitting, we will endeavor to keep these lessons outside so can adults please ensure that children have suitable footwear, jogging bottoms and jumpers as well as their usual shorts and T-Shirt. This term we will be learning hockey and football.

Book and biscuit will also remain at 8:45 on a Friday with spelling tests also on a Friday. Children receive their new spellings on a Friday after their spelling tests.

Thank you for your continued support.
